Pam’s Pick this week is: “The Girls in the Picture” by Melanie Benjamin, this is the latest stylish historical novel that transports readers to Hollywood’s early days and views the rise and fall of silent films through the friendship between two of the era’s most dazzling stars, Mary Pickford, and Frances Marion.
New Fiction: “Robicheaux” by James Lee Burke, “Shroud of Eternity” by Terry Goodkind, this is the second book in the Nicci Chronicles, “The Bomb Maker” by Thomas Perry, “City of Endless Night” by Preston & Child, “The Pearl Sister: CeCe’s Story” this is the fourth book in the Seven Sisters series, and “The God Gene” by F. Paul Wilson.
New Christian Fiction: “Hope on the Plains” by Linda Byler, this is the second book in the Dakota series, and “Blue Ridge Sunrise” by Denise Hunter this book is also in large print.
New Mystery: “Double Wedding Death” by Arlene Sachitano, this is a Harriet Truman mystery.
New Non-fiction: “101 Objects in the Night Sky” by Robin Scagell, “The Super Metabolism Diet” by David Zinczenko, “What Can I Bring?
