Library Notes for January 18, 2023

What’s Happening at the Library:   

Storytime with Ms. Katie is every Wednesday at 10:30.  

Book Club: January 19th at 6:00 in the basement, this month’s book is: “The Year of Pleasures” by Elizabeth Berg. 

Libby Workshop: Monday, January 23rd 2:00-4:00.

 Pam’s Pick this week is: “Just the Nicest Couple” by Mary Kubica, this is a high-octane thriller. Jake Hayes is missing. His wife Nina at first thinks he is just blowing off steam, but after a few days he is know where to be found. Lily Scott is Nina’s friend and co-worker and the last person to see Jake before he went missing. Lily decides that no one can find out what really happened. Nina will not stop looking for her husband until she discovers the truth.

New Christian Fiction: “The Sisters of Sea View” by Julie Klassen, this is the first book in the On Devonshire Shores series. 

New Non-Fiction: “American Agriculture: From Farm Families to Agribusiness” by Mark Wetherington, “Reptiles & Amphibians of North America” by Catherine Howell, “Straight Talk About ADHD in Girls: How to Help Your Daughter Thrive” by Stephen Hinshaw, “The Earl and the Pharaoh: from the Real Downton Abbey to the Discovery of Tutankhamun” by The Countess of Carnarvon, and “Our America: a Photographic History” by Ken Burns.
