Library Notes for March 8, 2023

What’s Happening at the Library:   

Storytime with Ms. Katie is every Wednesday at 10:30.  

Taxes with RSVP: we are now taking appointments Monday-Friday for the free tax service.

Are you ready to start planning your garden? We have just what you need. New this year a Seed Library: We have bags of vegetables, flowers, and herbs. You can put your name in for a drawing for garden tools.  

Pam’s Pick this week is: “Irish Coffee Murder” by Leslie Meier, Lee Hollis, and Barbara Ross, this is a collection of three St. Patrick’s Day novellas set in Maine. Lucy Stone, Hayley Powell and Julia Snowden are all trying to solve suspicious death in unexpected circumstances. 

New Fiction: “Black Candle Women” by Diane Marie Brown, “White Smoke” by John Gilstrap, “Never, Never” by Colleen Hoover, “The Last Orphan” by Gregg Hurwitz, “More Than Meets the Eye” by Iris & Roy Johansen, and “Someone Else’s Shoes” by Jojo Moyes.  

New Large Print: “Romancing Mister Bridgerton” by Julia Quinn, this is the fourth book in the Bridgerton series. 

New Christian Fiction: “A Mark of Grace” by Kimberley Woodhouse, this is the third book in the Secrets of the Canyon series. 

New Biography: “All My Knotted-Up Life: a Memoir” by Beth Moore. 

New Non-fiction: “Not Too Old for That: How Women are Changing the Story of Aging” by Vicki Larson, “Walk the Blue Line: They Walk the Line Between Life and Death” by James Patterson, “Better Homes & Gardens Annual Recipes 2022,” and “George Washington and the Irish” by Niall O’Dowd, a special Thank you to the SAR for the donation of this book. 

New Audio Books: “3 Days to Live” by James Patterson, and “More Than Meets the Eye” by Iris & Roy Johansen. 

New Movies: “Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings,” and “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: Top 10 Tiger Tales!”
