Pam’s Pick this week is:
“The Story She Left Behind” by Patti Callahan Henry, this is the story of Clara who was only eight when her mother went missing. Her mom with a renowned author who stunned the world by writing a fantasy novel at the age of 12. She leaves behind a devoted husband and a heartbroken daughter and the hope of ever translating the sequel to her first novel, written in an invented language. As an adult Clara is contacted by a man who claims to have a handwritten dictionary of her mother’s lost language. Should she trust him? Could he hold the answer to her mother’s disappearance?
