Pam’s 1st Pick of the week: “Sharp Force” by Patricia Cornwell, this is a chief medical examiner Dr. Kay Scarpetta novel. Dr. Scarpetta receives a chilling call early on Christmas Day. The Phantom Slasher is back. The serial killer has terrorized Norther Virginia for months. His victims wake up to a ghost-like hologram before being murdered in their beds. Dr. Scarpetta is hard at work to solve the case.
Pam’s 2nd Pick of the week: “Gone Before Goodbye” by Reese Witherspoon & Harlan Coben, this is the story of a woman trapped in a deadly conspiracy. Maggie lost everything when she lost her medical license and she is teetering on the edge of no return. When a former colleague gives her the opportunity to redeem herself. Desperate Maggie enters an unspeakable agreement that must be fulfilled to gain herself worth. When her patient disappears while in her care Maggie must become a fugitive herself, or she will be the next one who is Gone Before Goodbye.
