What’s Happening at the Library:
February is the Month of Love: so back by popular demand “Blind Date with a Book.” Stop by and check one out. It could be Love!
Storytime with Ms. Katie is every Wednesday at 10:30.
Book Club: February 16th at 6:00 discussing the book: “The Memoirs of Jane Austen” by Syrie James
Taxes with RSVP: we are now taking appointments Monday-Friday for the free tax service
New this year a Seed Library: We have bags of vegetables, flowers, and herbs. You can put your name in for a drawing for garden tools.
Game Night for all ages: February 23rd at 6:00
Pam’s Pick this week is: “Murder Book” by Thomas Perry, this is a suspense thriller. Ex-cop Harry Duncan is called by the U.S. Attorney (his ex-wife) to take on a widespread criminal organization targeting mid-west towns. Harry quickly finds himself in conflict with a violent syndicate that targets both him and his ex.
New Fiction: “Don’t Open the Door” by Allison Brennan, “The Bullet Garden” by Stephen Hunter, and “The Reunion” by Kayla Olson.
New Large Print: “Ralph Compton’s the Too-Late Trail” by Matthew P. Mayo, and “An Officer from a Gentleman” by Julia Quinn, this is the third book in the Bridgerton series.
New Christian Fiction: “The Rose and the Thistle” by Laura Frantz, and “Her Heart’s Desire” by Shelley Shepard Gray, this is the first book in the A Season in Pinecraft series and also in large print.
New Non-Fiction: “8 Rules of Love: How to Find It, Keep It, and Let It Go” by Jay Shetty, “Zoology: Inside the Secret World of Animals,” “Bright Dead Things: Poems” by Ada Limon, and “Blue Ridge Parkway Road Trips” by Amy Balfour.
