Pam’s Pick this week is: “How to Age Disgracefully” by Clare Pooley, this is the story of Lydia, who takes a job at the local Senior Citizens’ Social Club. She assumes she’ll be setting around drinking tea and playing card games. The club members are a little more active than she thought. When the city threatens to sell the community center building, the members join forces with their tiny friends in the daycare next door as well as one of the father and a geriatric dog to save the building.
