Happy Halloween!! I hope everyone has a safe and fun filled night. “Pam’s Pick” this week is a Scarpetta novel. “The Bone Bed” by Patricia Cornwell, will make a nice read for a Halloween night. Scarpetta is haunted by someone from her past as she tracks a killer.

“NYPD Red” by James Patterson & Marshall Karp, someone is killing Hollywood icons and Detectives Zach Jordan and Kylie MacDonald know there’s no way of telling what a killer this deranged will do next. (regular & large print)
“Last Scene Alive” by Charlaine Harris, this is an Aurora Teagarden mystery. Roe is again after a killer but this time she maybe one of his targets too.
“The Unspoken” by Heather Graham , this is book three in the Krewe of Hunters: Second Krewe series. Veteran divers are dieing as they explore the freighter, Jerry McGuen that sunk in 1898 in Lake Michigan. It was carrying an ill-gotten sarcophagus of an Egyptian sorcerer. “The Virgin Cure” by Ami McKay, this is the story of a young girl abandoned on the streets of Post-Civil War New York City. Moth is sold as a servant by her mother. Moth befriends Dr. Sadie who hopes she can protect Moth from falling prey to a terrible myth known as the “virgin cure.”
“The Scottish Prisoner” by Diana Gabaldon, this is a masterpiece of epic history, wicked deceit, and scores that can only be settled in blood.
