Children who attend Trigg County Schools receive a free library card when they start kindergarten. Homeschooled children are eligible for a card when they turn 5 years old.

Library cards are free for anyone who lives or works in Trigg County. To apply, please visit the library and bring a photo ID with a Trigg County address or a piece of mail that shows proof of residency.

Residents of surrounding counties — including Calloway, Marshall, Lyon, Caldwell, and Christian — are also welcome to apply for a library card.

If you’ve lost your card, replacement cards are available for $1.00.

As we anticipate our 2027 move to our new library, we are temporarily unable to accept book donations.

We are grateful for the generosity of our community. Your donated books help support our library, and we look forward to welcoming them again once we’ve settled into our new home next year.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we take this exciting next step. We’ll be sure to announce when book donations can resume!
