“Pam’s Pick” this week is a new reference book, “The Kentucky African-American Encyclopedia” edited by Gerald L. Smith, Karen Cotton McDaniel, and John A. Hardin, this book offers fascinating stories of early pioneers and entrepreneurs such as the sports icon Muhammad Ali, and Wendell H. McRidley, who was a minister, educator and editor and publisher of the “Cadiz Informer” newspaper in the early 1900’s.
New Fiction: “The Ex” by Alafair Burke, “Breakdown” by Jonathan Kellerman, “Robert B. Parker’s Blackjack” by Robert Knott, and “The Lady’s Command” by Stephanie Laurens, this is the first volume in the Adventurers Quartet.
