Book Club: January 19th 6:00-7:00 

Pam’s Pick this week is: “Yours Truly” by Abby Jimenez, this is the second book in the Part of Your World series. This is the story of terrible first impressions that lead to hilarious second chances and the joy of finding your perfect match. Dr. Briana Ortiz and Dr. Jacob Maddox are ER doctors. The two get off to a bad start that only gets worst. Then Jacob does something surprising. He volunteers to give Briana’s brother a kidney. Rethinking her first impression she finds a likeable guy. Could it lead to a romance? 

New Fiction: “Sister of Starlit Seas” by Terry Brooks, this is the third book in the Viridian Deep series, “Clive Cussler the Corsican Shadow” by Dirk Cussler, “Kinfolk” by Sean Dietrich, “Emergency Contact” by Lauren Layne, and “A Very Inconvenient Scandal” by Jacquelyn Mitchard. 

New Christian Fiction: “Her Secret Hope” by Shelley Shepard Gray, this is the third book in the Season in Pinecraft series and also in large print, and “To Spark a Match” by Jen Turano, this is the second book in the Matchmakers series. 

New Mysteries: “Peach Clobber” by Karen MacInerney, this is a Dewberry Farm mystery, and“From a Far and Lovely Country” by Alexander McCall Smith, this is a No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency mystery.

New Non-Fiction: “The Great Disappearance” by David Jeremiah, “Blood Memory: the Tragic Decline and Improbable Resurrection of the American Buffalo” by Dayton Duncan & Ken Burns, “Classic Cookies: 166 Favorite Recipes to Enjoy All Year” by Kate Woodson, and “Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival” by Omid Scobie. 

New Audio Book: “The Ball at Versailles” by Danielle Steel.
