Pam’s Pick this week is: “The Fiction Writer” by Jullian Cantor, this is the story of Olivia Fitzgerald, a literary star with writer’s block. When offered a high paying ghostwriting job she jumps at the chance for something different. The story is about a mega billionaire’s grandmother and her relationship with Daphne duMaurier. Olivia soon realizes she is trapped in a gothic mystery of her own. 

New Fiction: “The Wonder of It All” by Barbara Taylor Bradford, this is the third book in the House of Falconer series, “Lost & Hound” by Rita Mae Brown, “Matter of Death” by Robin Cook, “One Last Kill” by Robert Dugoni, “The Spy Coast” by Tess Gerritsen, and “Never Lie” by Freida McFadden. 

New Christian Fiction: “Starstruck” by Amy Clipston, and “This Passing Hour” by Leslie Gould, this is the second book in the Amish Memories series. 

New Mystery: “Hidden Beneath’ by Barbara Ross, this is a Maine Clambake mystery and only in large print. 

New Non-Fiction: “Make Money Move: a Guide to Financial Wellness” by Lauren Simmons, “Southern Living 2023 Annual Recipes,” “Ultimate Book of Home Plans,” “Elvis and the Colonel” by Greg McDonald, and “Kentucky: Off the Beaten Path” by Jackie Finch. 

New Audio Book: “The Watchmaker’s Hand” by Jeffery Deaver. 

New Movies: “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,” and “The Miracle Club.” 

New TV Season: “The Handmaid’s Tale” season 5.
