Pam’s Pick this week is: “The Shop on Hidden Lane” by Jayne Ann Krentz, this is a romantic suspense novel. Sophy Harper is concerned about her missing Aunt Bea and reluctantly teams up with Luke Wells, whose Uncle Deke has also disappeared. The Harper and Wells families have had a long-running feud that goes back generations. Luke and Sophy pairing up to find their missing loved ones isn’t ideal. Even less ideal is the growing attraction between them. When their investigation takes them to an artists’ retreat in the desert where they must pose as a married couple, things get emotionally messy. They find strange power fluctuations and evidence that someone is in possession of a psychic weapon that the Harper and Wells families have long kept hidden. Sophy and Luke will have to use all their skills to save themselves and their families.
