Pam’s Pick this week is: “Camino Ghosts” by John Grisham, this is the story of Mercer Mann, a popular writer from Camino Island. Bay Books owner Bruce Cable tells Mercer he has a story for her next book. A true story about Dark Isle, an uninhabited island not far off the coast of North Florida. The deep secrets of this island’s past are about to be revealed. The fate of the island hangs in the balance.

Jerome Washington is the hired help and accused of killing the two landowners. The police find him standing over the bodies and charge him with murder. Jack Lee and Desiree DuBose team up to save Jerome’s life maybe at the cost of their own lives.

Iris now an adult wants to find out what happened to her sister. She saw the kidnapper and knows he is in Shoal Island Hospital for the criminally insane. She decides to intern at the hospital to get her answers. Iris soon realizes that something sinister is going on and the patients aren’t the only ones being watched.
