It’s a giant crate and a video message: “All will be well in time.” Inside the crate is a seven-foot-tall self-described “Bad Weather Friend,” named Spike. Spike’s mission is to help people who are just too good for this world. Can Spike take care of Benny’s enemies?

Pam’s Pick this week is: “The Women” by Kristin Hannah, this is the story of one woman gone to war and shines a light on all women who put themselves in harm’s way for their country. Frances McGrath, Frankie to her friends, joins the Army Nurse Corps to serve in Vietnam. The war was hard but coming home was the real battle. To a changed and divided America, to angry protesters and to a country that wanted to forget Vietnam. This book can also be checked out on Libby, in E-Book form or E-Audio.

The two get off to a bad start that only gets worst. Then Jacob does something surprising. He volunteers to give Briana’s brother a kidney. Rethinking her first impression she finds a likeable guy. Could it lead to a romance?
